Recommend with high praise Noah and his merry band of men who evaluated and expertly removed a rather mature tree with a 6’ base diameter, probably 70’ height, multi branched stately old Maple that has shaded this property for at lease sixty five years. This tree was of great concern because of its advanced age, and the fact that it had already dropped two limbs in the driveway, destroying 2 windshields. We are about to move into our new home... Read More however I was worried the tree was a danger to both our home and our neighbor’s located on the property line. Noah came for the initial inspection and determined it needed to be removed. I had hoped we might severely cut it back and permit just radical trim because it appeared healthy, alive and fully in leaf. As they reduced the tree of it’s numerous large branches, taking it down to a central trunk leader where the tree unfortunately demonstrated a large void space with only minimal dense fiber on the outer wall in sagital cuttings at about 25’; consequently it was determined unsafe, quite dangerous and could not be saved but required complete removal before it threatened either our home or our neighbor’s. Noah’s expertise and management of the cutting of segments from a crane permitted safe continual realignment with the tree from multiple angles and locations. This allowed numerous cuts and dropping of segments to the ground which were quickly placed in a mulching machine. They used a smaller claw like device to move the huge lower segments and then debulked and shredded. The crew were constantly safe, careful and protected by radio communication with Noah and each team member at all times. Additionally they protected the property by carefully determining where each large segment was to fall, preventing any damage to the roof or walls of the house as well as establishing a specific perimeter in which the tree segments were pre-determined to fall. They were competent, efficient, courageous and courteous in interacting with us and managed to have this ancient tree removed within one day and left the roof and downspouts clean of debris and cleared of sawdust by using a blower. This morning the added light and opened space is a delight to see making it less confined and overall property seeming so much larger. One would never know there ever was such a huge tree there! They will be returning to grind the stump and trim four overgrown Cherry trees in our front yard in the appropriate month of December. We could not be happier with the expertise of Noah and these gentlemen and the settling of our minds regarding the potentially of disastrous consequences to our properties if this lovely old tree had not been removed. I have neglected to state the economy in having decided to sign with this company. The estimate was well the best we received.
